Integrating gamma is warm when there's reason to be warm.
Rick Beato in particular has very good reason to be warm, to do his best to seem warm too. He has to sell himself to make a living.
Edit: Okay, it was 'open' and 'warm'. But still...

Re: CT Adult Poll Dance #1
The issue isn't 'warmth'--a cliché at best which gets bandied about here a lot. "Si warmth" came from Vincent, but there are plenty of TeSi's and SiTe's who are cold as ice, some FeSi's too (SiFe maybe not so much).
The issue is exteriorized or interiorized sensing, the way the power of being in the concrete physical world (S) is embodied. And so there was a reason why I wound up posting the image search for Rick when he was younger, to try to raise this question.

To be fair, he also has younger pictures when he's a lot less barracuda or lion-like.
This one I think could easily be TeSi.
This one not so much.

If you take a quick look at his Facebook page, the still photos he chooses for his videos seem to indicate a focused marketing tactic. There's a whole lotta Fe demo going on, to the point of 'mugging' it. I'm nice, I'm harmless, I'm lovable, I'm fun, let's play, let's play music!...
but I really wouldn't want to make an enemy of Rick Beato.

All that said (and shown), nothing exudes warmth more than healthy Se dom in a good mood.
The Enneagram equivalent archetypally is type 8 at 2, 'The Magnanimous Heart', which Rick Beato may very well be.

America is a great band.
2.
When I had written that NeFi was a strong possibility, the one thing that was messing with my head IS his strongly grounded in the moment presence, and in that video [as well as the rest of his videos] it is just strikingly clear...
Well, that's quite a 'one thing', because Ne dom cannot sustain that. Because Ne lives in the future. Which is in its head. So the question is why did you stay in yours, since you knew Ne didn't make 'sense'? (I mean if it was messing with your head, you were in it, right? ) You went from SiFe which was his type by domain and order, just not orientation, to extraverted perceiver with Ti PolR but suddenly he wasn't allowed to be S anymore, because...?
When I saw Ryan Long live last night, his Se was exactly the way it was in the live show we watched on YouTube when we were first split two to three between SeTi and FeNi (so upper slot absolute value Se). But in person it's very obvious that that Se in performance is a role, and one that costs him a lot of effort to sustain. He's just not in the now, he's very Sevenishly always in the next moment--which I found unnerving. In any case, I'm sticking my neck out on this thread to insist in a way I rarely do:
Ne dom will never ever ever have the groundedness of Rick. Ne is 'puer', Rick is bear.
Which brings us to his Si and Fe...
IMO he has a very strong Si/Fe overlay to him...
He's very healthy so he doesn't ignore Si, at least not the memory and tradition aspects, but is that an overlay? I do think, as I alluded to above, that some of the Fe can be seen as an overlay, in the sense of a rather literal 'demonstration' of what a great guy he is for his audience. But most of it's pretty built in--what I would call 'seamless second row".
But he also has a pretty seamless first row. That Si seems built into him like bricks. So my question is why even conceptualize all this as an overlay?
but I think it's because he's SO SO SO here and now, and you can really see that. It's his being 'in the here and now' out of which he derives his meaning, and he's giving that to us. In real time, he's giving us his experience and HOW he experienced it and HOW powerful it is and was, and you can see just on his facial expressions how meaningful it all is to him,
Which is what distinguishes him from SeTi, though I don't think SeTi would have been an off the wall typing for the first video. I considered it briefly, and then when everyone was amping up the Te or Fe I reconsidered it, but Fi PolR was quite impossible.
like he's pulling us into his 'memory space' in the now(I sound like a broken record about his playing records, I know) and reliving it. I know he's my conflictor, but I'll say once again, I find him delightful to watch.
Yes, the past is present to him and he is delightful to watch. But you resisted his Se at first. Again, knowing from the beginning he was SF and then realizing he was an extraverted perceiver and could be Ti PolR, you made him Ne!
That was you resisting your PolR in the absence of supervision. But a really healthy conflictor won't sustain the conflict. Glenn Greenwald is an FeSi who almost never irritates me and I always get something very positive out of his videos. I actually genuinely admire him and in some ways strive to emulate him. I guess a very healthy conflictor will become a bit of a supervisor if the other person is healthy enough to be open to it.

For no particular reason, I assumed the topic of the video would make it harder to see if it was Ni polr. I started to consider TeSi after the initial votes were in so I watched with it in mind, but it didn't seem very possible, i considered the possibility that I missed Te completely and others were seeing it more clearly.
I realize now the first video may have been misleading, and it's because of Fe role demo btw more than Si unignoring, but I think in the second video he looks like he could eat Brian May for breakfast, personally.
Yeah, he could give Brian a joking "bro elbow" and Brian would just crumble in his seat.

Pretty sure Rick is a sexual 8. This explains why in some younger photos he seems far more like a 6, or even a 7, which is the only thing that was making me hesitate about 8. But sx 8 really is "Dominance and Submission" and will often seem like the 'least Eightish 8'. Until it doesn't.

My very first impression of him was so/sx. I haven't watched a lot of his videos but I'm thinking 827 or 872 sx/so or something close to it? With core 8s, wings can elude me.Roshan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 8:59 am Pretty sure Rick is a sexual 8.
