Here is his first hit. He's in the band. Phil Spector was a music production genius who revolutionized the recording industry with the 'wall of sound', and dominated it until Beatlemania. He still had an illustrious comeback.

He also went quite mad.

From this video he seems far more likely to be 9 fixed; even looks like a 9 but not when you look closely imo.
