The fourth time he speaks:
SW: How do you structure your films, for example, what was the structure you followed/wrote for Holy Mountain? Was it like an archetypal hero’s journey — with thresholds, allies, and enemies, atonement, apotheosis?
AJ: For Holy Mountain I use the symbol of the enneagram. An enneagram is the sacred symbol of the Sufi’s. Then I make a character of the enneagram, who was the search of consciousness. Then I take the worst person in the world and start to change into wise person as they came to reality. This is how I wanted to do it and I did it. That was my structure.

And then the fifth time:
SW: I wanted to ask you about the role of alchemy in your work, as an aspect of your work, the material transformation and simultaneously personal transmutation.
AJ: The alchemy has two or three principal goals. First principal goal is to change matter into gold. Perfection of matter. This is one. And then to create the powder that changes the matter. The powder is an illuminated soul. This is a description of Christ, they say, when he came to you, he changed you. Second goal is to find the dissolvent — do you know what is a dissolvent? You make everything like water. Universal dissolvent. You put a drop here and it makes everything dissolve. And that is love. Love will open all the doors. That is number two. And number three is the elixir of long life. You will be young for a long time. The alchemist.

He almost reminds me of those TeSi's we've seen on YouTube
with clickbait titles marketing stuff like "Nikola Tesla's Greatest Secret" and "Unlocking the Demon within You."

Like you said, Ne 'flag-planting,' and something like Te agenda '5 steps to becoming enlightened' without any actual Ti or Ni—just magic.

Ti PoLR for sure.
Yes, but those usually know how to count to at least 3.

I thought of two things.
First, tone reminded me of roshan👀

:ninja:

Se-ssecond, also from what you told me about him, his imagery seems more on the seperated side.

Don't understand what you mean, e-ssam.
mmm...like every musician is playing the notes but there is no maestro.
Or, when there seems to be one, the musicians diverge each on their own.

I'm watching the dance of reality right now, will update here after i finish it.

Compared to someone like Tarkovsky or Bergman and both being Se/Ni they don't have that "abstraction" aspect.
Although maybe FeNi could be that. NeFi seems more likely vibe wise off it.

But why would FeNi have it if he has to have fully achieved Se (being his films are so impactful) and he's Si PolR?
I was thinking more in general but yes you are right with that.
Fellini has similarities with tone and "let's hold hands and dance in the circus" but off handedly i get something a bit different?

Well, Jodorowsky most unsurprisingly credits Fellini with being one of iirc three biggest influences. What do you think is Fellini's ct?
NeTi?
That... or FeNi. Haven't thought about his type in a long time.

*godard too has similarties with treatment of imagery imo*

hmmm....
Yes, do. Please do catch up on this thread. It'll be interesting to get a more informed opinion from you.

Right. Something like what I was saying about not having 'focus'. I mentioned this in relation to higher social in an sp last stacking (social in sp last becomes 'splayed energy); but was later thinking this is related to Ne >>> Ni. Have to think more about all this.

Didn't rewatch when I said I would because was looking for the c'card; now that I found it will do.

The eleventh time he speaks, "AJ: No. the audience who came to see el Topo..."

But I thought we had already spoken about him and Ichazo. Should have mentioned it anyway, though.
You mentioned it to me on Facebook Roshan when we did Ichazo/Naranjo typings on EF, iirc.

Anyway, i'm still behind on this thread but i'll try to catch up soon.

I never saw any of his movies yet btw, but i did read some of The Incal ages ago. I discovered him through Moebius/Jean Giraud actually.

I'm pretty positive already that NeFi is right for him.
It makes perfect sense to me that he would be my contrary.

I'm going to watch El Topo and the Dance of reality soon.

Right. I can see the two of you getting along famously--on a desert island, for one week.
