So sorry, I will look at this tonight (and try to be more consistent now that I’m officially done with exams).

Re: SiFe Exemplars Review
i will listen to one of the albumsRoshan wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 11:53 pm I need confirmation of SiFe for her 'at your earliest convenience'. I want to write about this ct, if right (can't see what else?) and this song. There is more of her on the 2 thread.
btw she was apparently going to study to be a special ed teacher when 10,000 Maniacs started taking off and she eventually went to live away from the big city and teach art to kids.
Re: SiFe Exemplars Review
This particular song I found much more moving unplugged than the album version and I'm not sure how her solo albums compare overall to the ones by the band.

Re: SiFe Exemplars Review
Compare Natalie Merchant's 'Gold Rush Brides' to the song of another SiFe 259--a 9 leading old friend of ex-husband. This one's a bit of a jumper but SiFe chronology is like the annual rings of a sequoia tree. With Fe tool (the unbounded) and Te PolR (always working, never working ), it may mosey on down to paleontology.
We've spoken about introverts within a quadra as anticipating the coming quadras; note 'the dawn of mechanized farming'.
(cd is 2006 but pretty sure the song is older and yes, I am quite sure of his ct.).

Re: SiFe Exemplars Review
Please confirm--this presenter is a classic SiFe academic?
His lecture is only the first half and you shouldn't have to watch the whole thing--although it's about a very important moment in modern American political history and I found it fascinating because I remember the 1968 election campaigns very well, from the pov of a 9 year old child from an ordinary liberal family.
St. Johns is a liberal Catholic university in Minnesota. You should go in aware that the focus is on Senator Eugene McCarthy and this is The McCarthy Center at the university he attended in his home state. So that the professor so zeroes in on one moment, one decisive factor, one tipping point, that changed history has a lot to do with his working within a McCarthyian tradition rather than with his own as it were 'Te'. But I want to be sure--he's Si dom and Te PolR?

Re: SiFe Exemplars Review
Yes, Roshan, he seems SiFe to me. As soon as he took the stand, I very briefly wondered whether or not he could even be TiNe, having caught wind of a tendency to preservation of epistemological integrity (a la Si) via Ti/Fe precision and specificity of articulation—a pattern I see with most alphas, especially alpha introverts and NeTi, and it manifests energetically as a sort of heady fastidiousness and delicacy of expression.
But anyhow, I'm finding it difficult to see him out of Si dominant, especially since, as you said, he seems to be working within a McCarthyian tradition and everything is framed, contextualized, as under it and backed by Ti (such as @ 3:00, his summation of the Cold War Commitment-Truman Doctrine, "this formulation made the Vietnam War important, it would not have been relevant otherwise;" 'history's first principles'—I'm not even sure he would've explained it in this very particular way if he weren't Te PoLR. On some level, he seems to be at pains leading (TEaching) the audience through what they need to have contextualized before segueing into Mary Beth McCarthy Yarrow's film, feeling that he has to, and is somewhat unable to, actively resist his own fastidiousness on the way there).

Re: SiFe Exemplars Review
I finally finished watching the first half and i also agree he is SiFe.
I can't say i caught any real clear cut "smoking gun" proof of Te polr though, besides the fact that he seems to emphasize public opinion and ideological factors over more concrete ones, and sometimes gives important elements of context a bit late.
But that's the thing with SiFe scholars with developed Ti, Their polr can be pretty hard to catch, especially in this kind of settings, where they are prepared and have some physical product to show to an already conquered audience.
In that kind of setting, most SiTes would show at least some of their "Math Teacher from Hell" side, and Ken Jones really doesn't give me the impression he has one.

Re: SiFe Exemplars Review
It's the hazy lack of delineation of his delivery. As Anthony indicated, there is a reluctance to direct. It's the absence of a gun.
