Roshan wrote: Thu Sep 23, 2021 9:40 am Well there isn't really much explanation here Vincent, but I understand you want to look at more materials first. Could you just explain now why you think you might have gone with SeFi for the older child photos?
Well, in those pics, especially in the last one, it seems to me that he has that kind of almost palpable ad visceral intensity that comes with Se and Fi together.
Something a bit stern too.
You don't see quite that with beta Se, usually, in large part because Ti and Fe both attenuates it a lot.
And that's really not the case here, imo.
So i guess i would have gone for gamma, and tentatively for gamma SF, based on those pictures alone.

tbcd soon.

Hmmm...

One thing that really seems to stand out about him is his intuitive understanding of explosions. "I can make a bigger bang than that, dear."
I spent some time listening (relistening) to his songs. Every single one is composed of these slow, precise lyrical and rhythmic pressure increases until he finally releases them, creating a "bang," and then you get "we are the champions, my friends..."—like he's continually building these highly complex bombs and setting them off in his songs. I wonder if this is him grasping for Se, or perhaps his Sx influence...

Energetically he reminds me of a slightly less seductive, more coiled version of Russell Brand. I expect this is primarily their enneagrammatic similarity, though.

I agree with what you told me, Roshan. His songs really do not seem Ti PoLR, and to me, they don't even seem low Ti.
In line with TeNi, Fe role seems very plausible in his interviews, and I find it difficult not to see him as judging dominant with instrumental intuition.
If he had valued Fe/Ti axis, I would expect a more evident focus on 'manner of articulation for the interviewers/conversation partner(s)/audience' (hopefully that makes sense), while his speech alone seems primarily utilitarian, Te-ish (as do some other things about him). However, I'm not exactly sure I would say this about someone like Jordan Peterson...though it seems like a substantial reason behind his resonance with people was that he too expressed with a sort of "bang"(as opposed to say, sort of monotonous Ti-ish dissertations).

These are some thoughts, tbcd.

I keep writing stuff and erasing it. I'll wait for other people to talk more first. :)

But here's a full interview and I will just say that to me he seems irascible like a gamma NT but with well developed F in general. Too close for comfort; very hard for me to see Fe frame overall (though oc more than willing to hear arguments for it).

Also this is his oldest known video footage (from college and silent); it is authenticated because it was originally auctioned by the maker at Bonhams, a New York art auction house which has sold a lot of Freddie memorabilia including his notebooks. Freddie was known to be withdrawn and bookish at school.

"I agree with what you told me, Roshan. His songs really do not seem Ti PoLR, and to me, they don't even seem low Ti."

That's the thing (or one of the things). Where is Ti seeking? Whereas Fi seeking... (won't say more for now).

Also, "he's continually building these highly complex bombs and setting them off in his songs. I wonder if this is him grasping for Se, or perhaps and his Sx influence..."

It will always be 'and' with "continually". Anthony. :derby:

Scaramouch, Galileo and Figaro almost certainly reference the other three band members (with Brian May being the astronomer) and the song is almost certainly both about coming to terms with his sexuality and the man he left behind AND inspired by some story he heard about (he says he researched it). Compare "Carry on" to "I'm gonna go on and on and on" in "We are the Champions". I'm thinking now of something I wrote ages ago in an unfinished poem: "I am the carrion. I carry on". and how it could be the motto for Gamma quadra.
