This is because neither 2 nor 5 has more than one line to another rejection triad member (8), and the (dis)integration points themselves constitute the type—being that 8 is an oscillation between 2 and 5."

In the rejection triad, both E2 and E5 control access to power, dictating its flow, and E8 is the power itself.
E2 and E5 are threatening, while in a sense, E8 is the threat itself; E8 embodies the threat of 2 and 5.
This isn't to say that, as 'power' types, E2 and E5 are 'less powerful' than E8—to control access to power, one must first have it. But, E2 and E5 don't possess the same corporeal, embodied, effortless power and competence of E8 which is contingent upon its membership in the gut triad. E2 and E5 have to gouge power from the corporeal, embodied environment intrusively and/or avariciously (intrusion/avarice overlap), and then once they have some (once they've got a bit of what E8 naturally self-generates), they have to protect their power by obfuscating it, making it somehow 'invisible.'
The invisibility act of E5 is one of hoarding, hiding their power—their cards. E2 shows their cards, but does so deceptively, as a gift to you—b/c once they do, you're indebted to them, at their mercy. In their act of powerfully freeing you, they've also effectively enslaved you to them, except you didn't know it until it happened.

E8 is the transparency, the card revelation, between these two invisibility acts. However, although 'card revelations' are necessarily short-lived, their aftermaths are not; bombs don't explode...y'know, forever, but the people who die in the explosion are forever gone. As such, and as an oscillation between E2 and E5, E8 can never fully reveal their cards—they are like bombs who always appear as though they're about to explode (externalized anger), except the people & environment around them are the E8's source of power (E2 and E5 gouging it out), and so E8 is trapped in this perpetual game of 'exerting force to remain King of the Hill,' which is exhausting and unsustainable.

To the E8, becoming Innocent entails being at the mercy of the corporeal world instead, just like children. The irony here is that Lust is itself an exhibition in 'being at the mercy of the corporeal world;' if they didn't see themselves as being at its mercy, then why would they need to be Lustful? Why would they need to exert so much force to remain King?
In becoming Innocent, E8 begins integrating high E2. Innocence is freedom (Holy Freedom) for the E8, since fully accepting Holy Truth (the truth will set you free)--the fact that 'yes, God WILL indeed cut you down at some point or another, go tell your friends'--is also to overcome these Lustful drives, with subsequently-achieved Innocence naturally entailing Benevolence (rather than exploitation at low E2 and E5).

To add to what has already been spoken I'll say this, 2 and 5 are not dictating power but exist as poles between (ed. strike that)... at the boundaries of power, both ascertaining and working with its currency, between the human nature of fear and greed itself. And to reiterate in a way, this negative pole at 5 (the avarice, non-ownership... very rejecting and compensating as such) and 2 with it's false assumption and perceived ownership..... 8's virtue is to, oddly enough, resemble the innocent, to envelope the positive (pole) nature of the forsaking, complaint 2, but without strings - to become trusting in love as a vehicle to realizing self-fulfillment (to be absent lust), this missing piece, a <productive> place among the rest of humanity.

Whatever you may think of Donald Trump, it would be hard to find a better example than this response to his indictment, in the first half of this video, of 8 between 5 and 2. Specifically of 8 apparently integrating 5--traditional point of DISintegration-- to activate very high 2. 8 will just 'keep pushing ahead'. Sustained forward movement is 8 in a nutshell (and also Se). This movement will cause isolation from the majority as an 'outsider'. Which separation at 5 will enable the giving of love for all at 2. The goal being to do what is 'right': Holy Idea Justice. 8 becomes a compliant type at high 2. Protection is key.

idk if he had a hand in the assemblage of the clips but the words are his and whoever made the video nailed the movement between 5 and 2. While in the public eye since his first presidential run, he also loomed in the shadows--to give light, as his supporters see it. We also see the emphasis on 5 proficiency in his view that the response of 'a broken system' that he's wrong impels him further forward. It lets him know he's ready, so to say (5-->8 line of preparedness). 5 exile--in contrast to 4--has to do with facing the 'mechanics' of our nature, and of nature itself, in sharp relief against the mother/child dyad at 2--and yet 8 strives to bring them together.

Here at T9I we rarely judge in any ordinary sense. We just keep whittling away. The sculpture is in the stone. I'm not saying he achieves this trajectory; I'm saying he experiences these archetypes, in however flawed form. And so do his followers, and so he, 837, has moved and shaken the world.

The real issue should have always been, why do his followers feel so deeply the need to be protected?
