Rather unusually, I've agreed with eidb's 4 typing for Nick Cave. And although it's been tempting to make him 7 lead, I've thought 4w5 though it was inconclusive from interviews I saw due to the influence of heroin. I've thought sp/sx 47x, with the gut either a very dark 9 or 1. And I couldn't get a fix on his ct but he seemed probably gamma.

Now this talk with Freddy from Unherd came out. I'd go with the 479 but he really doesn't seem sp first; he seems more [sx/sp]. What really surprises, though, is that he seems FiNe. He reminds me a lot in his 'qualia' of my ex-husband, FiNe 9/6w7/4 sx/sp. His work habits also remind me of ex's Te seeking. He could easily be FiNe here (the question being, what else?), but Se polr? He sure could be here but his stage presence and the sheer force of some of his lyrics and musical choices really do not.

This 'rare acoustic version' of Sad Waters is probably what sealed the deal for me that he must lead with 4. Just that something special you can't put into words because it would taint it. (Didn't know til just now the first two lines are from the American standard, Green Green Grass of Home).

I do agree that in the Unherd interview he doesn't SEEM to have an ounce of NT logic but not sure I buy it....

but if some whacked form of gamma NT that 9 must be 1 after all. There is certainly a lot of good v. evil and ruminations over punitive avenging in his work....

I didn't watch the interview yet (will do soon) but my first reaction to this is that... that poster would probably say the exact same thing about quite a few of the people we typed as NiTe, firmly or tentatively.

Anyway, and still speaking from first impressions, i would be surprised if he doesn't end up being gamma.

Realistically, for me to be the 'upper' one in an unequal relationship with him is absurd. We should be equals.

One thing that did not seem FiNe about him in the Unherd interview was his eyebrows. Right now a lot of things don't.

Here are the lyrics to White Elephant he speaks about at 17'23" that he wrote during the lockdown unrest. He is 1 fixed, Wrath is his thing; also he whittles away from 9 to 5:30 with high Te. Everything is going somewhere. And Se polr goes without saying just no. He has to be NiTe. His apparent 'qualia' in the interview fooled me, though they needn't have.
