Michael Jackson
Re: Michael Jackson
I had typed him as SX/so 5w4 but I can't quite remember why and the thread where it happened remains cryptic since I have been expunged from that site.
In any case, recently I really started to doubt this typing and wonder if MJ wasn't the standard typing, Enneagram 4, after all, and that was the genesis of this thread. In viewing the materials, I concluded that not only is that standard typing for the lead type right, but that it's one of the occasions where the Fauvres were right about the tritype. It's 479, The Gentle Spirit.
I do differ on the standard stacking, though. I don't think he's social 4 shame; he has almost the gaze of sx/sp Mesmerizer. He locks the interlocutor in with no peripheral vision and there is no escape. My guess atm is sx/SP Wanderer but going toward the midstream Mesmerizer. The Wanderer invests sx energy into stimulating pastimes to avoid investing in relationships.
What I can't quite do is reconcile the lead type with the stacking. The tyrannically controlled hothouse flower environment MJ grew up in cannot be underestimated in terms of its effect on his development. So I'm tempted to give him 4w5, but that's a lot with [sx/sp] of any range. A lot of withdrawnness, a lot of darkness. If I'm going to keep that stacking, I think he'd have to be 4w35w4 to draw him out a bit more, as Hungry Ghostlike as he may be.
His constant emphasis on his feelings, his stated desire to create something unique, his painful self-consciousness and all but unmitigated palpable shame, his apparent obsession with the heightened aesthetics of his wardrobe, and his identification with the freakish defectiveness of the "Elephant Man" are what quickly landed me on Four lead this time.
For ct I have him as FiNe, a really unusual FiNe who, due to extraordinary circumstances, was trained since a tot to overcome his Se PolR physically. But he didn't overcome it psychologically; that's what Neverland Ranch attests to. Build big, okay, but the perception of the self is still small, to the point of remaining a child in the adult world. Axiomatically helpless at the deepest level regardless of wealth and fame. Anyway he seems delta to me. And who could be more "Fin de la race" than he?

Re: Michael Jackson
I happened upon this strange article which is stupid in parts but quite interesting overall, despite or because of all the IQ stuff.
