At first stance i would say too Se to actually be Se....and too obviously alpha to not be alpha.
SiFe in SeFi.
We talked a few times of the SeTi females pretending to be SIFe in the current Zeitgeist. I suspect this is their male counterpart. SiFe pretending to be SeTi, for similar reasons.
And then the stance of perpetual irony is Ne turned into shadow role.

As an SiFe, how do we account for Sam Hyde as Te PolR? Also, can you articulate what is so obviously Alpha about him?

Re: Sam Hyde, comedian/commentator
Well, it seemed obviously alpha to me because of how ultimately unserious and somewhat childish it seems to be.
If it was any post-alpha quadra, i wouldn't suspect him to be ultimately rather apolitical, but i did, right from the start.
It's all for fun, no harm done, which seems pre-fall to me. Sure it's transgressive, and he is eating the red pills of the Tree of Knowledge all day but with the expectation of getting away with it anyway. God is dead and won't spank him regardless of what comes out of his unclosed mouth.
Now about Te polr... a lot of what he says in the second part of the first video seems to be exactly the kind of things Te polr would need to hear. But it sounds like the Dude in the Big Lebovski is telling me how to become a productive, generative member of society. Not like Jordan Peterson telling me to clean my room. Seems to me like he is just having fun talking like a gym bro while looking shaggier than me in a bad day.
Some of what he says in the second video is certainly true, but i would put that on Ni role and on "canary in the coal mine" effect before i attribute it to any actual Te. Especially since i've been saying similar things about atomization for years myself.
I wouldn't put as much faith in Twitter's future scalability as he seems to do though.
I don't know enough about his career to assess how productive and successfull he is and to guess how much Te that would require. My impression so far is that he is doing what he wants to do and would do it pretty much in the same way whether he had to do it from his basement or was making millions.
From those two videos alone it seems to me he is kinda turning an unapologetic Te polr into some kind of lowfi esthetic(the first video keeps stressing how unplanned the whole thing is, the second one is two people sitting in a room filmed from afar and above, etc).

I thought of the Dude too!Vincent wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2024 12:20 pm Now about Te polr... a lot of what he says in the second part of the first video seems to be exactly the kind of things Te polr would need to hear. SiFe in SeFi was my typing. I think we can see Te PoLR in the second video where he says it took him a half hour to say something that he could have said right away. The other choice is SeTi and "seamless second row T" really doesn't have this problem. Even if they are the less verbal ones, they will just grunt out whatever they have to say in the moment.
I also don't find his energy to be ultimately 'threatening' in the way an actual Se dominant is.
Te PolR in SiFe can be very, very tricky to spot when the Ti is developed and there is enough Se unignoring. There are a lot of similarities between Si categorization and Te pragmatic sequential thinking, both in discourse AND in just 'getting shit done'.
What I gathered from the comments is he is successful enough to have a lot of followers who revere him the way Peterson's do his, but he also still lives with his parents (which could be another sign of Te PoLR).Vincent wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2024 12:20 pm I don't know enough about his career to assess how productive and successfull he is and to guess how much Te that would require. Right, his 'production values' aren't the highest.
