Freddie surpassed my expectations.

His Unherd thumbnails are often very evocative.

He has Peterson magnified at his absolute lemon-sucking vitriol nitrate worst.

But Fuller looks indecisive and petulant and his hands are closed, Freddie's are open.

Peterson looms over them like a giant Puritan preacher from Massachusetts Bay Colony, but Fuller makes for one worried, ineffectual Buddha.

Relistening/watching and almost at the end. c. 42' when Fuller says he's kind of excited because there is the possibility of a new world view emerging.

But that's not what Sayers posited as exciting. What he posited was the obsolesence of the concept that there is, could or should be a (a=uno=one) world view.

Sayers is a consummate beta. Fuller is too much of a jumper (too NT) to be a consummate beta, and my take remains that ultimately Allie's surfing pulled him into the alpha undertow.

And so Sayers treats him a little like a 'quadra traitor'.

To be fair, there is an enormous irony in Sayer's position while being head honcho of 'Unherd'.

But.

Freddie did not found Unherd.
