Vincent, if no one else is having the problem maybe it's my browser so I should look into that first and use the other feature in the meantime.

But I do think the who was here should be last 24 hours; also we don't need the reactions count under our avatars; it feels creepy to me since I have so many reactions. And I don't think we should have our motto in TWO places on the home page unless the bottom one is in Latin: Quid Aere Perennius.

Presumably everyone's posts should show up but how far back are they supposed to go and for how long are they supposed to keep showing there? My suggestion would be this should not be based on specific times or whether you've clicked on them or anything, but just on how much. the feature can hold, so as many as possible for as long as possible.
When i first logged in today, the new posts link was showing quite a few recent posts.
When i came back, it was only showing your last post in your SP thread Roshan
Everything else was gone, including the posts i hadn't read yet.
Then i signed out and in again, and it wasn't showing any post anymore.

So my guess is that it works based on sessions, rather than on a specific length of time.

And if that's the case, the list is going to be cleared up everytime we sign out, everytime we are inactive for more than 15 minutes, and everytime something goes wrong with cookies.

I'll see if i can find a way (or maybe a plugin) to do what you're suggesting.

tbcd.

Yes i agree.
But the thing is the who was here is a plugin, not a native feature, so i'm not sure i can change this.
I'll check and i'll let you know.

This, on the other hand, should be quite easy to fix.

hmmm...the Active Threads feature will do fine for now Vincent, but the problem is we might miss if there's more than one new post on a thread. I'd say not a priority but not trivial either so...quid aere perrennius excelsior.

So I changed the first word of the title of the new thread in the ct intertype section from "Triggernometry's" to "Trig" because it was so damn cumbersome. But the change doesn't show up on the home page in either Safari or Chrome?

EDIT: Okay, I just bumped it up to see if it was still happening and it's not so I guess it was my cache. But I'll leave this post so people know about it because that never happened to me on any other site. It has only happened with image changes, not text.

So there is a problem Vincent. I changed the Rose McGowan thread title to the correct one, 'Gram the Grown Up #1, at 7:35 a.m. yesterday and it shows when you go into the thread, but the home page still says 'What is Rose McGowan's E-Type?" (Safari and Chrome).
