Anthony.
Vincent.
e-ssam you don't have to vote on Enneagram yet but if you want you can give it a shot.
I know Sarah already read that and Amy may not be voting on time so I won't tag them now.

From now until Friday night keep up with the debate thread. If you don't agree with Trainwrecks ct make a case. Finish watching the debate (I'm making time stamps). Watch the extraordinary dynamics between Train and Destiny; it seems like the revolt of the supervisee.

Okay we're soft pedaling for the holiday season. Read over the group chat for Wednesday pm and start catching up with the E6 thread. Group vc this Saturday at iirc 2 pm (sorry very scattered still).

This for Jan.
17 30.
viewtopic.php?t=117
Work on it gradually. Like NOT last minute. And you'll need to be following closely and participating in the movement of the points discussion because we're doing the lead passion AND how it moves between two other passions for the
17 30th. So it's all related.

So, in the New Year, start by watching and thinking carefully about your videos on the Passions thread. Say you are doing E1, start with those. After that I would say watch the E1 videos on the regular E. exemplars and Holy Ideas thread for a firmer understanding of 1, but bear in mind your submission (post, attachment, or video) will focus on the videos on the passions thread. When you've done that, you should do the same for the points 1 moves to, so 4 and 7.
All the while follow carefully and participate on the Movement of the Points thread. You can ask questions you have about your assigned type on that thread, or on the Passions threads or in the group chat or wherever it seems suitable. Just note the Passions thread is already in the Study Hall so posts there should be well-articulated, while the Movement of the Points thread can be looser, and of course the pm chat is loosest of all.
Then once you feel solid with 1 (and 4 and 7), you should watch all the other Passions videos so that when other people present about them you aren't totally caught by surprise and lost.

I just reread your post—
To double-check, you're saying our Jan. 30th commentary will focus principally on the Passions thread videos
as representations of each type's passion, with the regular E. exemplars, Holy Ideas, and Movement of Points threads supplementing our understanding?
EDIT: Nvm, yes, that is what you meant.

Anthony, since I presented the passions as being between two other passions, the Passions threads should be more like parallel to the Movement of the Points thread. Also, the Movement of the Points thread and the videos on the Passions threads are the ones you can count on all the members having read and watched carefully, which informs how you shape your presentation. Obviously, you can refer to anything else (from on or off the board), but it will require more introduction of the material.

So you already know the priority is for the month, not the week, and it's the types and movement of points as per the songs and film clips This coincides with beginning of semester and in one case tests from end of semester, and with other issues and events.
The thread, A Tale of Two Sixes, should be incorporated into this as possible. Meaning, if you are able to, read it and watch the videos provided, especially the embedded ones. (But at least don't miss that there are linked ones
too).
This material is very basic but at the same time it's very advanced, and the way it came down 'play by play' is also not the most efficient. So it might be best to wait on this thread til you're done with the other E-types stuff for this month, depending on your level of expertise, frame of mind, progress in your school work, etc.

Due to illness, course load, etc., let's move the Enneagram Passions presentations to next Friday, February 4, 4 pm NYC time. So you only have to do the new poll in the Enneagram section for this Saturday at 10 a.m. But don't forget to also watch any of the Passions videos you haven't gotten to yet for next Friday and to catch up on the Tale of Two Sixes thread for that weekend. Also remember that at least for your own assigned Passion type, you should also be watching the Holy Idea videos.

Don't forget to finish the Passion presentations by Friday afternoon (NY time). Could you please also fit in watching the Huey Newton Buckley interview as soon as possible? It's long but very interesting and he is highly problematic, typing and otherwise. Then over the weekend you can catch up on Jack and Sidney. It should all seg together into triple and almost triple attached spinning and 6<-->9 core dynamics very clearly.
