Something I thought of saying in my OP was that that video reminds me derivatively of Pink Floyd's The Wall, and now with him sitting there watching tv ('Comfortably Numb'), I am.

The issue with songs like Terrible Lie isn't that he suffers so. So could a 5. Nor is it that it's about Betrayal capital B, classic 6 victimology. One would expect a lot of this in 5 all the way in Six. It isn't even that he begs (self-abasingly) for something he doesn't have to hold onto--a seemingly good differentiator for 6 v 5. Because again, 6 in 5...

It's that, with all this, so far he doesn't really seem to also organically turn inward into the contents of his own mind. The appearance that he does seems to come from the visuals (which seem to be both 'reaching' and 'derivative'), but where is his v island, his birdland, in the themes of his lyrics? WIth all that tinge of self-abasement (6 L9), there should be more 'schizoid' > whining. Where is his (not Pink Floyd's) horded dragon treasure?

tbc I'm talking about the lyrics to v island song, which are under the linked video. The situation is the opposite. Barnett works with his 9 brother and the anime video was made for them and they really liked it. But the 5 is in the themes of the lyrics.

What I've come to notice about withdrawn Five artists is that they're aware of themselves as receiving and transmitting some aspect of the universal code. This is what overwhelms them. Five is the place right before Six that should become a medium. But to allow such porosity would kill it.

Well, I found that here in his ten best from 2015. One video is missing but it's on youtube and you can search all the lyrics too. He seems most Fivish in his earliest ones but after that a lot of it just like counterflow GI Joe. He certainly has a militaristic streak and one could have a drinking game with all the times he says believe, faith, true and lie.

I feel like when he was younger he really may have just been hysterically posed at stress point 3 on his Five wing. So everything Five except the fixation itself. Avaricious display in the service of counterphobic cowardice.
