Re: Joan RIvers (comedian, entrepreneur)
Really? My mother is very 8ish, almost triple positive, and sp/SO. Her ‘social role,’ both within and outside of our family, is “comedian.” Like I said, the nature of their jokes are very very similar. The way they talk about people is very similar. The image they seem to desire is very similar. My mother is the first person she reminded me of, which wasn’t for no reason, AND it’s also true that Joan is quite energetically Pelosi-ish overall, both young and old. Is it impossible to conceive of, say, a ‘cross’ between Pelosi (triple positive) and my mother (almost triple positive)? Does it not seem at all likely that Joan’s type configuration IS that cross? Depends on what aspects of a person we’re pointing to; it’s really not that weird Vincent.

To repeat myself,
Louis CK has 9w8(8w9) and the 2/3 line.

Re: Joan RIvers (comedian, entrepreneur)
Roshan I was answering Vincent's question. My typing of her with 9w8(8w7) and 2w3 was tentative, which I said in the post that suggested it, and which I made even clearer by suggesting that she might be a cross between my mother who DOES have those fixes and Pelosi w/ 9w1 and 2w1.
I even said this:
No need to repeat yourself. Really. I read it the first two times.
I even said this:
There is a problem with 9w8(8w7) in that she isn’t really burly enough for it, but…2w3 > 2w1 so far imo, I think she’s 9 fixed, and so far I think 8 > 1 overall.
No need to repeat yourself. Really. I read it the first two times.

Roshan If there's something I'm not seeing here,
https://www.google.com/search?q=joan+ri ... 7DLb02dW0M
it isn't because I'm not looking. I've already said that I see what you mean about her similarity with Nancy Pelosi. I have not, and do not yet intend to, concede that she's nothing like my mother (who has 9w8(8w7) and 2w3).
There's a big difference between saying there are similarities with your mother and giving her the exact same gut and the same heart with a different subwing when she already has the same stacking, with no explanation, after I'd given mine and then moved to the One space.
To me, it seems like she is, which means I'm also saying that she seems similar in many ways to someone else with the same fixes as Louis CK, and I explained why.
If you disagree, will you say explicitly why? Clearly, I'm not getting what you're getting at, and you repeating yourself three times isn't helping either.
Louis CK has 9w8(8w7) and 2/3 and so does my mother.

Re: Joan RIvers (comedian, entrepreneur)
Well, i guess, but i didn't get what aspects of her you were seeing, or pointing to, which i why i asked.
I still don't get it btw.
I mean, how are their jokes, the way they talk about people and the image they desire very similar ?
Anyway, i watched all the videos and i'm still not close to have a complete typing for her.
i will have to watch more, and rewatch too (she sometimes speaks too fast for me).
My impression so far is that sp/SO 729 seems more lilely than sp/SO 728.
She is very agressive and pretty eightish, especially when older and after all the surgeries, but it doesn't really feel heavy or mighty enough to come primarily from the 8/9 space. I wouldn't want to be on her bad side because i feel i wouldn't know how to respond to it nor how to "match" it, which is not what i usually feel with people on both sides of the 8/9 line.
I do agree that here is some similarity with Rala in her reactivity though, and i suspect 9w1 will turn out to be right.
Overall, she seems 1 over 8 to me so far, and i really don't think a single line to 1 on her lead fix would be enough to account for how sharp and "cutting edge" she is. 2w1 seems more likely than 2w3 to me at this point.
I just saw on wikipedia that she got a BA in English Literature and Anthropology, which i find pretty interesting since in her quieter moments something about Joan reminds me a bit of Silvia Mancini, who was one of my anthropology teacher (and probably a 2w1 fixer, btw).

Well, one of them has her whole professional career labeled, filed and archived in a drawer. Every single joke she ever said. The other one got into trouble for his disorderly conduct (to put it lightly).
So yeah, it seems doubtful to me they would have the same gut fix.

Re: Joan RIvers (comedian, entrepreneur)
Okay, she REALLY looks Nancy Pelosi-ish there, albeit much more endearing.
Just saw your edit, Roshan, on my last post, and okay
And Vincent, concerning the image they seem to desire, this:
There's a way that they both seem to want to "encompass the whole world with their love." It's very grandiose, but the grandiosity is made explicit and charmingly embraced. It's different from the way that, say, Jz does it. To me, Joan Rivers feels like she could be my overbearing aunt or something; that's the vibe I get.she seems to want to be the sort of person who is "FOR everybody, loves everybody, wants to be loved by everybody," and ultimately wants to reflect 'Holy Love.' E2 offering + E9 attachment & universality.
Secondly, perhaps this is mostly accounted for by the sp/SO and doesn't necessitate her having more 8 (given the rest of her config), but both her's and my mother's jokes are aggressively crude and NOT really in a 'cutting' E1 way. The nature of their jokes are very similar, and I think some of their jokes are nearly the same. However, thinking it over again, I do agree that there is a sort of...E8 'might,' an embodied overbearingness, that Joan lacks in comparison.
