See section Her Majesty, the King. I just have almost no doubt Freddie exemplifies NiSe inner axis. Auburn says Je in general is "king energy" so let's see what he has to say lately about Te.

Oh yes, it could definitely be the motto for Gamma quadra indeed.
That's very very true.

At this point, i'm pretty convinced that he is indeed gamma and that TeNi is the right type.

I will try to go back the posted materials to explain why and make my case for it.

So when i made that post i was still hesitating and oscillating between FeNi and TeNi.

The thing is, i was seeing a lot of Se-Ni axis in pretty much all the materials i watched, which basicaly eliminated all alpha and delta types.
It had to be either beta or gamma.

I was also pretty sure that he was may more likely to be a withdrawn extrovert, potentially a creative subtype one, rather than the opposite configuration.

SeTi was obviously out of question. (No way in ten thousands hells that he could be Fi polr.)
I considered SeFi, briefly, but Ti polr and Ni inf really doesn't work.
There is just too much vision and too much architectural complexity in his work for it.
And anyway, his Se didn't seem that high in the stack either. Not quite organic, implicit yet omnipresent enough to be frame.
Se agenda on the other hand makes perfect sense imo.

So i was left with the two types with Ni-Se as their inner axis. FeNi and TeNi.
One being my first impression from the baby pics. And one being Roshan's intriguing suggestion.

Of course, Te frame wasn't an easy sale.
Fe frame initially seemed more likely to me.

But it still didn't feel quite right.
Some things were either missing or hiding ;

-The tribal, "collectivist" side of Fe, which is usually pretty obvious in beta extraverts, especially with FeNi.
Even "We are champions" starts with "I", his "bad mistakes", his "share" and his success.
And, ironically enough, there is just no indication that "we" is a group, a team, a tribe, rather than a sum of "i".
"No time for losers" also sounds pretty incompatible with the kind of shepherding you would expect from beta Fe.

-the political and ideological stance that usually comes with Fe frame and Ti seeking.
Fe frame in beta is driving the horde somewhere.. It has to point toward the horizon. In a specific direction.
Or at least to seek it and search for it.
So FeNi very often has something of a Pied Piper.
And you don't see that at all with Freddie Mercury.

Compare "We are champions" with "Stairway to Heaven" for example.

I voted SeFi from the first pic, i saw Se & Fe from the pic and something about him reminded me of my older brother, a bit of intense and (perhaps cocky?) assertiveness but more expressive than he was at that age, i felt the same in the other pictures too.
But especially the picture with his sister it very much reminded me of my brother, but then i realized it was Freddie and I had settled on FeNi from before :derby:

I don't think SeFi works with him, even though his songs are "bombastic" but as Anthony said:
Every single one is composed of these slow, precise lyrical and rhythmic pressure increases until he finally releases them, creating a "bang," and then you get "we are the champions, my friends..."—like he's continually building these highly complex bombs and setting them off in his songs.
Too measured and guided of bombs than I would think a Pe dom would have.

From what I've seen from the interviews though, I'm not getting Te frame?

He certainly doesn't seem to attempt to "control" the flow or take charge the way I'd think Fe 1st would, at least also in comparison to seeing him "do it" both in the songs and the live performances.
He also doesn't redirect the flow either, like how an Fe would probably do even when they are dismissive, but nothing stuck out as Te frame or even strong Te?
like, perhaps a more withdrawn FeNi could still fit with that?

Also, why is that?👀

Fe directs a flow that they're part of. Is he or does he command the crowd like a general? He didn't write the song but...

As an FeNi shepherd, why does he think the flock would stop him from having himself a real good time?

I was just listening to "Somebody to Love" and it didn't take long to see how the lyrics are a perfect encapsulation of Te/Fi, specifically Te frame and inferior Fi.

The lyrics:
► Show Spoiler
This song specifically feels explicitly Fi seeking. Here he states that he works hard everyday, he works hard until he aches. Yet all the money in the world doesn't fill the longing he has in wanting to love somebody. At the end of the day, he not only wants his hardwork rewarded, he wants someone that will give his work purpose and meaning.

Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Ooh, each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
(Take a look at yourself) Take a look in the mirror and cry (and cry)
Lord, what you're doing to me (yeah yeah)
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!
Somebody (somebody) ooh somebody (somebody)
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

He's frustrated that God (or Ahura Mazda since Freddie was Zoroastrian) hasn't rewarded him with a lover in spite of him faithfully believing in the Lord and working hard. What struck me the most about this song is that he specifically says,

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Not, "Can anybody find me somebody to me."

It's not just that he's looking to somebody to love, this line also indicates that he recognizes, in some manner, that he needs to reach into his Fi in order to find purpose and meaning in his work and life. I can't for the life of me imagine a FeNi or gamma SF writing these type of lyrics. Regardless of his faith (or diminishing faith) in the Lord, he possess the ultimate belief in the self,

I just keep losing my beat (you just keep losing and losing)
I'm OK, I'm alright (he's alright, he's alright)
I ain't gonna face no defeat (yeah yeah)
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
One day (someday) I'm gonna be free, Lord!

There's the determination to find purpose in his life. He will eventually get his reward by paying his karmic due via his hard work and own hand, not through some God. This is characteristically very gamma. This song is not a lament, it's a declaration of will. He will find somebody to love, it's not a matter of if.

So my vote goes to TeNi.

Yeah, see, when I asked before where is Ti seeking it's because I found no trace of it. Whereas Fi seeking is the opposite. (And I have more to say about Te/Fi specifically but I'm still trying to hang back a bit).

It's far less surprising for the frame or large aspects of it to often seem hidden, subtle, and/or morphed (because it's so ingrained, so second nature) than for inferior seeking to seem totally absent. And Freddie to me really seems to 'wield' Ti very casually. He can take it or leave it and he does. Ignores/unignores really seems to fit, almost like flicking a switch on and off, but never have I seen effort spent on finding or delegating it.

Freddie seems to carry Ti in his side pocket, whereas Fi seems to come at stations of his cross weighing upon his back as he struggles uphill to Calvary.

Roshan wrote: Thu Sep 23, 2021 10:44 pm But here's a full interview and I will just say that to me he seems irascible like a gamma NT but with well developed F in general.
Yes he does. I agree completely.
It wasn't that obvious to me in the interview compilations, where he often appears way softer or sweeter than might be expected from gamma NT, or from Te frame.
But it is very striking in this one.
very hard for me to see Fe frame overall (though oc more than willing to hear arguments for it).
Well, it seems very unlikely to me that Fe frame would wait for years between interviews
or would do them that expediently, in batch.

I really don't doubt that he is only doing that because that's part of the job, and that really fits Fe role.

Another thing is that pretty much all the interviews i've seen so far are really one-on-one discussions with the interviewers,
He never seems to be trying to talk to the public at large through the interviewer, as Fe frame often does

Also, @9.38 "To me happiness is the most important thing"
"If i'm happy it shows in my work. So basically i just want to be happy, make a lot of money and buy a lot of things"
I agree with Anthony about his utilitarianism.
And the thing is, he is pretty unapologetic and direct about it, in a way that really doesn't seem to fit Fe frame.
