I'll comment further when I finish the Corbyn article and read more of this blog.
But him being 4w5 so/SP, 479, and FiSi, was initially and slightly unexpected but not surprising if that makes sense? As in I suspected he had movement going into the hole and there's something disembodied about him. But the more I read his posts and when I look at his videos, the more explicit the imploded shame is. It's right there and splayed with just observing his facial expressions and body language. Plus he has the forelorn FiNe face that
Roshan has pointed out with this ct.
In some way I feel played, but not by Mercouris. If anything, once you pay attention, he wears his type on his sleeve. I feel played by own biases. I attributed his proper and gentlemanly British demeanor to having more competency and 1ish features. And to be fair, he has a 'competent offering' core type (as pointed out by
Anthony), he has two lines to 1, and he has high sp, specifically so/SP. But even his proper and gentlemanly demeanor isn't aristocratic in the coolly stoic and put together manner. There's too much of a "sad sack" element in there.
He's very fascinating.

Chief feature Melancholy. Watch and weep.

Which is a word associated with so/sx btw.

Well, in addition to what I said about the DG influence (conflating 3w4 with 4), in this group we've been very conscientious about not over-typing 4. And I think this has led to an attitude of "If I can't have 4 when I suffer and die too, no one can". I mean we're not even talking about lead here, or even about choosing a 4 fix, we're talking about looking at 4 seriously enough for someone to mention why it was rejected just as a fix. This despite knowing I've been saying for a couple of years now we're undertyping 4 even just as a fix and at some point we'll have to recalibrate.
I don't have to be right about what I said about his complete typing but this omission was absurd.
I attributed his proper and gentlemanly British demeanor to having more competency and 1ish features.
And he just turned out to be an aristocrat. Shrug.
I see nothing core 1 fix about him energetically.

Which is the term Erica used, correctly, to describe social 4.
He's very fascinating.
Yes, he is, -Sarah-. Especially once you know about the scandal, and then about his family.

I'll also add, about biases, that Fours aren't 'supposed to' be attorneys or geopolitical commentators.
This comes in part from DG too, He claimed even actresses wouldn't be Fours because "Four does Four". And that in turn stems from, and is in some ways a perversion of, Don. In other ways not. tbcd

And you've been hoarding these early photos of him til now because...?
In any case, they wouldn't have been relevant to how the typing votes were cast, but...?
I'm not sure what you mean; I didn't mean to hoard anything. Not sure why I didn't post them earlier other than that most didn't capture anything that wasn't already there on video.

So what are you saying (two in red)? 'Quite a few
photos', (aka not videos), do or don't matter?

Just that most of the photos I found, at the time, didn't seem to capture anything about him that wasn't captured on video, so I didn't immediately see them as relevant to post. Also, when I did find that photo of him where he appeared Sp/Sx-ish (there were others, not a lot, but that was the one that really stuck out in this respect), I didn't think that simply finding an Sp/Sx-ish looking photo was salient-enough evidence of his stacking to post it; we also learned that he's extremely unhealthy, had an iatrogenically-induced mental breakdown, etc. I know these aren't great reasons, but that's why I didn't rush to post the photos.
Edit: Misunderstood the question, my bad. There were not “quite a few” photos. There were A few. My apologies for being hyperbolic and misleading.

Here's what rubs me. You want us to type him, but only under these really specific terms, and then the people don't see the image. So he's a 4? I can't doubt that, but you should say go watch everything you freaking want to watch about this guy. Now the trust is on you, tell me what 'you' think his type is.

I typed him as a 4w5 after seeing one video, the one in the OP. I made the complete typing after watching one more, so I gave two videos before the 'official voting' was closed. Same as I had. I chose the second one I chose instead of the second one I saw because I thought it would be helpful for people to see him interacting. The second one I saw was just like the first.
So he's a 4? I can't doubt that, but you should say go watch everything you freaking want to watch about this guy.
Sometimes I do do that!
But not usually, because a lot of what we're working on here with these polls is to be able to hone skills typing with limited sources. Such as when you meet someone once quickly or when someone asks you to phototype someone. Not that I'm a big fan of phototyping but the polls originally began with "Type the Tyke". The voting was on one usually YOUNG children's photograph of an unnamed person and then I'd keep adding on photos until the 'reveal'. And there is one 'Mystery Man' phototyping here on this forum too. But no actual Type the Tykes.
Now the trust is on you, tell me what 'you' think his type is.
Well, why don't you start one like that Jonathan? Anyone can make a poll.
I don't have any problem at all with that, except along the lines of some people dig up a lot of sources and others just a couple. Then if the ones that have a lot post them, it makes the others feel they have to watch them asap, and if they don't post them they're offering a much more informed assessment than the others so it doesn't give ME that much information about where the group is really at. .
Nothing's perfect except Grace Kelly's face and oblivion.

ps There's a reason these are in a section called Arcade and have funny names like 'Gram the Grown-Up' and 'Mystery Man' (and 'Type the Tyke' oc).
It's a game. Games have rules. The problem is in part that I'm INTJ after all, like I said in chat, so I'm Fe PolR
Jonathan and my games aren't necessarily fun.
(You, on the other hand, are merely Fe ignoring
).
