I'm
finally reading the now classic book about how the left lost the white working class by foolishly falling prey to wedge issues/identity politics. (I was sent the UK/Australia edition that's called "What's The Matter With America?" though, and at first thought it was the wrong book.
)

Tbh, i haven't been reading much lately.
But this is the book i read in buses and trains right now
It's an anthropology book about the
Wild Hunt and other european myths about hunting.
i read it years ago, but now i'm rereading it with typology (especially quadras and quadra evolution) in mind.
I will probably talk about it more at some point because it has a lot of resonances with what we have been working on here.

The movie of the week activity inspired me to pick this up and I really liked Deleuze's
Coldness and Cruelty.

I went into the public library last month for the first time since lockdown started and I wanted to take out a Spanish book but they were mostly translations of bestsellers from other languages. So I took out
this one I never heard of (the description is bilingual). I'm using it to rebuild advanced fluency (ask me about vocabulary building methods) and the book turns out to be very very good.

I finished these today. Here is the
PDF for Marcuse and
the one for Acid Communism. I started Andrea Dworkin's
Intercourse a couple months ago and I want to get back into it. I'll start Huey Newton's autobiography pretty soon as well.
