I saw Ryan Long live last night. I don't go that often to this kind of event unless I'm involved on a scene--or have a young sx/sp friend that thinks we're a couple who does breathing down my neck, neither of which has been the case for a few years. So with the intervening lockdown this was really quite the occasion for me.
I'm not sorry I went but it wasn't all I'd expected it to be, and with the food I wound up eating because I felt slightly hypoglycemic at almost midnight, it definitely wasn't cheap. This did not take place in a dive. In any case we've talked about him at length and I'm quite sure the NeFi ct is correct; I'm not sure if he's so/SX 379 or 369 waaaay in 7 though. I have more thoughts on all this, including and especially how it felt my first time going to see a 'creator' I got involved with through their youtube 'community'--which is why I'm putting this here, but I may be moving it to its own thread.
The thing is some of it feels deeply personal--he reminds me so much in ways of who I was or at least who 'we' were and who we wanted to be--and some of it is really shop talk; shop talk that relates in part directly to the Rick Beato typing discussion.

So These New Puritans is my favorite contemporary band/musician/s. Just so ya know.
By contemporary I mean anything post Y2K.
Not that I know THAT many but still.
My next favorite I guess is the divine Miss LDR.

I don't mind that since the no ads monthly payment didn't process for Enneaforum, I keep getting ads for Alexis Bittar jewelry, a brand I have bought online and have done searches on many times, at the top of the home page. But the Visit Idaho ad is creeping me out.
