Re: Putin
I JUST recently watched his appearance on Lex Fridman's podcast and also typed him as a healthy SiFe creative. He's VERY, VERY similar to the SiFe mistyped-TeNi that recently 'bumblingly and rudely encroached on our territory,' but Saagar is like the healthy version.

Re: Putin
Yes he does, and he does it really really well.
And that's kind of a relief tbh.
I mean, in the last few days i've seen lots and lots of cognitive dissonance about "why is Putin even doing this", including some wild speculations about terminal illness and insanity. But so far he is the only one i've seen who truly gets the ideological dimension and motive of it.
Yes, and with very good Ni role.btw I think Saagar is a healthy SiFe creative, which makes him Putin's benefactor (and Krystal's supervisee).
That sounds absolutely right to me.
Re: Putin
Saagar is very similar to my tripe attached SiFe former music and theater collaborator John.
He may get the ideological dimension but I (and those who agree with me) get the typological dimension. I watched this Charlie Rose interview of Putin. Stay tuned for time stamps.

Re: Putin
In the Consortium panel discussion with Mearsheimer that I also linked on the political thread, former CIA officer Ray McGovern shows footage, from 50'39" to 52'10". where he feels Putin 'uncharacteristically loses his cool'. Well, McGovern's an intelligence analyst but I have other skills, and I don't find this uncharacteristic of Putin at all. I find it typical. To me he's always like this and this is just a distilled version of his base metabolism, which by now seems pretty clearly to be pent up anger 'driving with the breaks on' of a 'Worry 1' coming out of a position of interpersonal enmeshment--the compliant heart type's icky sticky guilting glue. All this with a heavy sp cover but always poor me, I try so hard, you just don't get me and I just may have to retaliate for debts unpaid, and won't that be just awful.
If he doesn't lead with 2w1, then it's 5w6 with the 2w1 second. I don't really care that much if he has a hidden 8 in his back pocket or if all the aggression comes from the double movement to 8 of 2 and 5. The point is 2w1 and 5w6 together up front seem pretty clear and seem to be the reason people argue whether he's an 8 or a cph 6. Also, he got where he is the way sp 2s so often do; by becoming the power behind the throne and making himself indispensable and serving and waiting. He was Yeltsin's 'lady-in-waiting'.

Re: Putin
And there's also this little tidbit from the the Ukranian socialist's article on Jacobin (which I linked directly here).
"You need only look at how Putin talks to his Security Council, like to schoolchildren who failed their homework assignment. "

Re: Roshanak's Political Peepenscheíßeschau
I'm perplexed as to why, in the interview I posted, Masha Gessen didn't accuse Putin of being involved in the apartment complex bombings as happens here with such certainty in paragraph 7. She certainly highlighted his response to it as enabling him to assume the mantle of power.
Re: Putin
Well.... I've watched a lot of videos and read numerous articles. and I have to admit that I can't figure out this guy's type. Yes, I realize why you see sp2, the lines work a little better there, but he still has to be a sp2, I intuit many things, I know you do the same... and we only get to see the produced image. This assumption regarding the role of power (for a self-perceived good cause).... in theory it's money.
These days, I intuit that he hates democracy*, want's to simply be powerful, using history for his personal desire. Sees perceived threats, but what's to be intuited is that they aren't militaristic, it was the culture itself. He's crusading against another culture with all the outdated tropes, and please.... they are outdated. It was 30 years ago this all started.
So he's sentimental. Upright Rusky sentimental, but you're still going to need another slice of bread if its going to be a sandwich. This thing here, the romanticism alluded in that other thread with the other guy, it still has to exist truly within the physics of our universe! It's here that I see Vlad as a much smaller person relying on the habit of environment, to draw from... the paint pretty pictures. A military tactician he is not, so we safety scratch any 'head' types here.
For being such a 'world' leader, he really doesn't put himself out there much. I mean, he's not directly trying to influence anything, just your bog standard ruso novo riche, hiding behind the bureaucracy of assumption. A gopnik done well, by simply sitting still.
I guess for me it comes back to trying to understand Russian culture and the kitsch that causes a particular man to act a certain way, and the currency it enables among other men. I know that the culture there is as complicated as it is in the West, there are pro-nationalist there who present their ideals and those who are sympathetic to kicking some Ukrainian ass. That's what makes this stuff so hard, are the priorities a priori or de facto. Does it matter?... he's getting to be an old man now. I don't need to know his type, he's a historical person in a unique position, obviously not average, is that what he wanted all along?
*this is one good recurring theme. This guy has forever been butt hurt over the failure of his 'nation' and over-step of the others. Instead of condensing into higher quality, the autocracy only knows to keep expanding. This expansion of self-defined pre-history, I assume the modicum, it's automatic, time spent catching up just like any competitor. The false flag was that nobody was competing against anyone else, they just functioned with what was already there. Here, Putin not only has to catch up with history, he has to now surpass it as an inherent organic action.... that his was 'right' all along. Good luck with that, Russia's been set back 30 years on the world market. There is something so odd and self-defeating about Russia, in its haste to to be itself it ended up being nobody, a giant North Korea with nukes...a Neanderthal of modern politics. A giant Cuba in the east, a team without morale. You could say Putin is a creator, a man with a vision, to which I cannot argue. But where is that vision? In yesteryear or tomorrow? And his is not worldly, it's quite parochial... old man hanging on to yesterday, thinking his (self-important) time is now.
And btw, Masha reminds me of the halfway point bt you and Teri (ed. Terry) Gross, if you know what I mean! There's a lot of similarities in real life.

Re: Putin
Absolute sp 2w1. 40'50" to 42'55", upon the signing of the admission of the new constituent republics of the Russian Federation, following a morally outraged harangue about the innumerable ways the West done him wrong.
This is what between 4 and 8 means. Hello.
